I need your guys help to test a new download service on HPAW via bittorrent.

Please help by downloading the Kingdom Hearts 2 Marathon with your favorite bittorrent client and reporting either here as a comment or on the HPAW forums saying how it went.

    Started the downloading process about 15 minutes ago. Steady download rate ~290kB/s connected to 5 of 6 seeds along with 8 of 21 Peers using utorrent. Download should be done in ~4 hours, so when it’s done, I’ll comment on the marathon itself.

    BTW Steady download rate ~1.2MB/s using utorrent. Can’t remember how many seeds and Peers there were but it finish downloading in about hours and a half.

    From what I’ve experienced with downloading the KH2 marathon with Bit Torrent, I would have to say that I liked it and I think that this is a fast way to download complete marathons. The estimated time for downloading the complete KH2 Marathon was about 1 hour, which is pretty good. I believe Bit Torrent is the way to go.

    Compared to the other two that have posted, I was unlucky in which I had to deal with Shaw Crap-Speed Internet. Where as other’s downloads took ~1 hour I was disappointed to know have to wait 5 hours, was it worth it? Yes it was, but will others see it in the same light? I can’t be as sure, but I can say I wouldn’t mind a Bit Torrent as a download option.

    so far it’s been going nice and fast, at ~700KB/s with 8 seeds and 10 peers. should be done in about 1-1.5 hours.
